By accessing or using Mapmark, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any related policies referenced within. This includes our Privacy Policy and any additional terms or agreements applicable to specific features or services of the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Mapmark. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.
To use Mapmark’s core features, such as creating your personalized map and placing location pins, you must create an account. You may register through third-party services like Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Apple. When you sign up using any of these platforms, you grant us permission to access certain information from your account, including your name, email address, and profile picture.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account. We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
Mapmark allows you to create and store custom pins on your personalized map, representing locations and information that you choose to save ("User-Generated Content"). You retain ownership of your User-Generated Content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and store your content within the App for the purpose of providing services to you.
You are solely responsible for your User-Generated Content and agree that your content will not violate any applicable laws or infringe upon any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem inappropriate or in violation of these Terms.
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using Mapmark:
Violations of these rules may result in the suspension or termination of your account and access to the App.
Mapmark uses location data to provide its services, including allowing you to place pins on your current location. Your location data is used solely for these purposes and is collected only with your explicit consent. You may control access to location services through your device settings. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in location data due to device limitations or user error.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@mapmark.app or by deleting your account through the App settings. Upon termination, all User-Generated Content associated with your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Mapmark if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the App in any way.
Mapmark, including all logos, designs, text, graphics, and code, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned by Mapmark. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the App without our express written permission.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App are non-confidential and may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.
Mapmark may include links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party sites. You acknowledge and agree that your use of such third-party services is at your own risk.
Mapmark is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, about the availability, reliability, or suitability of the App for your needs. We disclaim any liability for any errors, bugs, or interruptions in the App and make no guarantees that the App will meet your expectations or requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapmark and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
In jurisdictions where liability limitations are not allowed, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permissible by law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you through the App or via email. By continuing to use the App after changes to these Terms are made, you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in [Your Jurisdiction].
